The Alabama Medical Cannabis Commission held a public hearing on Thursday where stakeholders and citizens were allowed to express their opinions on the proposed rules for the Alabama cannabis industry.

The Alabama Medical Cannabis Commission met on Thursday. Items discussed included new rules to govern the industry as well as presentations from Louisiana and Ohio officials on how those states dispense their medical marijuana. There will be a public hearing on the proposed rules on July 14.
