The Fred & Rheta Skelton Center for Cultural Renewal aims to do just what its name implies: renew the culture.
A culture war is just as serious as a traditional war, even more so in many cases. There is no neutral in this fight, it’s a total war for the very soul of our nation.
Religion – particularly Christianity – is at the core of society because it puts us in right relationship with God. And when we’re in right relationship with God, everything else falls into place, namely, our relationships with family, work, community, and government.
The hardest, most powerful kind of courage isn’t standing up to our enemies. It’s standing up for the truth when it goes against our own side and what we once thought was right.

To detest the Israeli government or even the state of Israel is one thing, but haven’t we gone too far if we then jump into the swamp of anti-Semitism?
Couples are increasingly prohibiting their guests from bringing children to their wedding. In an “adults only” setting, they believe they will be more able to pull off their perfect day. Yet this is the exact opposite of what we should do.
Setting yourself the goal of reading, say, a dozen books over a 12-month period is setting yourself up for failure unless you are already in the habit of reading. It would be far more effective, and easier on your conscience, to work on building your reading habits.

Right now, Taylor Swift feels a need to create clean versions of her songs. This means, to some degree, there is a demand for it, that there may be a culture shift happening, and that Swift knows it.
Preferred pronouns are just one more example of the political and cultural obfuscations of our language. Not only are these twisted constructions grammatically incorrect and jarring, they also defy common sense and the laws of nature and science.
Want freedom? Then it’s time to bring on the family formation, either in our own lives, or in the lives of others by smoothing the way for matches to meet and marriages to be made.

Weak men are the enablers and beneficiaries of feminist mediocrity. They are to blame for the fact that we even allowed standards to be lowered to meet certain quotas of gender equality.

Our weapons in this war – reason, the law, debate, civility whenever possible, truth , courage, and freedom of speech – may seem inferior to the bombast, bombs, and bullets of the violent, but these are the marks of our civilization, and they also come with a price tag. Abandon them, and we will become as barbaric as our enemies.
