From the White House to Congress, the general election was a significant victory for Republicans and conservatives in the fight to save the country. However, with President-elect Trump assuming office next January, 1819 News CEO Bryan Dawson said the real battle is just beginning and it could get ugly before it gets better.
On last week's episode of "1819 News: The Podcast," Dawson laid out several things he hopes to see done as part of Trump's agenda and asked his audience if they have the "stomach to take back the nation."
"We won the election, and all that did was to give us the opportunity to do what is necessary to save Western civilization," Dawson said. "And so my question for you is, do you have the stomach for what it's going to take to save Western civilization, to save our nation? Do you have the stomach for that, do you?"
Dawson explained how the actions taken by government officials during the COVID-19 pandemic and the massive influx of illegal immigrants under the Biden administration must be answered for.
"Ask yourself this: if Fauci stands trial for his crimes…? [I]f it's proven that what I suspect that is the truth, is that his crimes against humanity, all of these people died because of his gain of function research and all these other things, if that's true and the consequences be life in prison or worse, what are we going to think?"
Dawson continued, "There are 25 million illegal aliens in this nation that need to be deported. That was a campaign promise… He [Trump] won in a landslide going around the country saying, we're going to round up the illegals, and we're going to get them out, okay?
Dawson said that, unlike Democrats, Republicans are too often afraid to wield their political power when they have the chance.
"Do we have the will to wield power for good? Conservatives are always like, 'Well, we've got power now, but if we use it, then when the left gets it, they'll use it, okay?' Well, the left has been using it. And every time we get power, we're like, 'Oh, we're not like them; we're not going to do that. We're just going to hold on to this power, reach across the aisle, and see if we can work with Democrats.' That's how we got here, people, okay? This myth of neutrality that there is no good and evil in government, we've seen the wheels completely fall off of that."
