The Super Bowl LIX halftime show by rapper Kendrick Lamar was “God awful,” according to U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Auburn).
Tuberville said during a Monday interview on Fox News Channel's "The Will Cain Show" that Lamar was the “loser” of the Super Bowl. The Philadelphia Eagles routed the Kansas City Chiefs 40-22.
“There was two winners last night: Donald Trump and the Philadelphia Eagles,” Tuberville said. “The Eagles just totally dominated the line of scrimmage, Will. It was just unbelievable. I’d have never believed it, but they did. And, as you said, you well noticed this: they didn’t blitz one time, and they still controlled the line of scrimmage. Donald Trump was a huge hit there last night. First president to ever go to a Super Bowl. Amazing feat there. But as you said, the loser also was the halftime show. That was God awful.”
