President Donald Trump issued a stark warning Monday evening, calling for the immediate evacuation of Iran's capital amid escalating tensions with Israel.
"Iran should have signed the 'deal' I told them to sign. What a shame, and waste of human life," Trump posted on Truth Social. "Simply stated, IRAN CAN NOT HAVE A NUCLEAR WEAPON. I said it over and over again! Everyone should immediately evacuate Tehran!"
U.S. Rep. Robert Aderholt (R-Haleyville) was quick to support Trump's message that Iran must not go nuclear for the sake of Israel's and America's future.
"Iran cannot be allowed to have a nuclear weapon. They have repeatedly said they want to bring death to Israel and America. We have no reason not to believe them," he said on X.
Alabama leaders have been voicing strong support for Israel since it launched what it called a preemptive attack on Iran last week due to fears it would soon possess nuclear weapons.

Reports of Trump's abrupt departure from the G7 Summit in Canada on Monday raised concerns of the United States becoming directly involved in the Israel-Iran conflict. However, following his call to evacuate Tehran, chief Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell stated on X that the U.S. military would hold defensive positions to protect American assets in the region and not launch an attack on Iran.
