A lawsuit backed by Alabama has temporarily blocked a new amnesty plan from the Biden administration.
An Eastern District of Texas federal judge temporarily froze the program on Monday.

Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall and 15 state attorneys general signed on to the lawsuit in federal court on Friday, attempting to stop a new plan from the Biden administration that would give over 1 million illegal aliens citizenship.
Last week, the Department of Homeland Security implemented Keeping Families Together, a process for certain noncitizen spouses and stepchildren of U.S. citizens to request parole in place.
