The latest attempt of a left-wing outlet to smear Trump supporters has backfired spectacularly.

A recent article in New York Magazine featured a cover photo showing only white partygoers and mentioned that "almost everyone" at an Inauguration Day party was white. However, the article failed to mention that black political activist CJ Pearson hosted the party.

Pearson took to social media platform X confirming he hosted the party.

"I hosted this event and @NYMag intentionally left me out of their story because it would have undermined their narrative that MAGA is some racist cult," he posted. "They also didn't include the fact that @WakaFlocka and @Gervontaa were also there. You don't hate the liberal media enough."

The publication cropped the cover photo to remove any images of black people and added the title "The Cruel Kids' Table," making it appear as if the Trump supporters were a white cult planning to dominate the nation.

One poster wrote, "Do Black Lives not matter when they're at a Trump rally? Just crop them out and erase them from history like you did?"

"They are rebels once again storming Capitol Hill, though without the pathetic scariness of the January 6 rioters," New York Magazine posted. "For our latest cover story, Brock Colyar reported on the young, gleeful, confident, and casually cruel Trumpers who, after conquering Washington, have their sights set on the rest of America."

However, instead of riling up the left and shaming the right, there were some unintended consequences to the inaccurate and insufficient reporting. Stories from the New York Post and Daily Mail got more attention and spread like wildfire.

Adding fuel to that fire, a young lady from Alabama stole the show and became the focus of conversation due to her striking looks.

Anna Claire Howland, 21, of Mountain Brook, stood out in the cover photo as if the timeless phrase "she lit up a room" had been inspired by her. Howland's seemingly effortless beauty and confidence became the story for the New York Post.

Before discovering her identity, people on X commented, "Yeah, she's beautiful. We need a handle," and "God is good."

So, who is Anna Claire Howland? She is a psychology major at Southern Methodist University, where she serves as president of her sorority, Kappa Kappa Gamma. Her minor is in business, and according to a social media post, she plans to attend law school after graduation.

Her parents, Rob and Mary Beth Howland seemed to have provided a charming life for their children. Their home was featured in Birmingham Home and Garden giving a glimpse into the family's elegant lifestyle.

It appears the apple does not fall far from the tree in the Howland family. The Rammer Jammer Alabama fans have also supported President Donald Trump on social media.

In the end, it appears the writer who was attempting to shame young and beautiful Trump supporters is the only one shamed. Colyar, a former journalism and gender and sexuality studies major at Northwestern University, made his account private since receiving backlash.

According to an online bio, Colyar "founded a campus queer and radical feminist magazine and served as a sexual health and assault peer educator." As a feature writer for New York Magazine, he has called Trump supporters "MAGA gremlins" and seems to have an affinity for crashing right-wing events and trying to blend in with the crowd to report back to his followers.
