On Sunday, bowl game selections were made for eligible teams across college football.
Alabama squeaked into the College Football Playoff and will face No. 1 Michigan in the Rose Bowl on January 1. Auburn will take on Maryland in the Music City Bowl on December 30.
Troy, which is coming off back-to-back Sun Belt Conference titles, was selected to stay in Alabama and play in the Birmingham Bowl versus Duke on December 23.

Jacksonville State will face the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl on December 16.
