The Alabama Farmers Federation announced it endorses State Rep. Steve Clouse (R-Ozark) for Alabama House District 93, which presently includes portions of Dale and Houston counties.
“Rep. Clouse is a proven conservative leader who knows good government,” said Chris Carroll, President of the Dale County Farmers Federation. “He has worked hard to represent our interests in the past, and we know he will in the future.”
“It is an honor to receive this endorsement, and I will work hard to represent the farmers and all the citizens and businesses of House District 93,” Clouse said. “I greatly appreciate the confidence they have placed in me, and I will work hard to represent them.”
Clouse is a seven-term veteran of the House of Representatives and serves as chairman of the Ways and Means General Fund Committee. He is past president of the Ozark Rotary Club, former chair of United Way and is presently a board member for the Ozark Boys and Girls Club.
Clouse and his wife, Diane, have two adult children and attend First United Methodist Church.
The Republican primary is May 24, 2022.
The Alabama Farmers Federation is the state’s largest farm organization with more than 340,000 members. It uses a true grassroots approach to select candidates, relying on FarmPAC endorsements from county Federation boards for local elections.
