The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) is sending a second crew to Florida to assist in recovery from Hurricanes Milton and Helene.

The 15-person crew will continue work clearing roadways with the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT).

Florida's staging area for crews is at the Manatee Operations Center in Bradenton. They will be deployed for up to 10 days.

Governor Kay Ivey said an 18-person previously deployed crew will return from south of Tampa.
