On Saturday, the Alabama Republican Party (ALGOP) announced the results of its delegate election for the premier Republican Midterm Convention set for September 9–10 at the American Airlines Center in Dallas.
According to ALGOP rules, the top two vote-getters serve as delegates, and those receiving the third- and fourth-highest numbers of votes go as alternate delegates. Ties are broken by a coin flip.
Members of the party will also determine at-large places with a vote that begins Monday morning at 8 a.m. and closes Tuesday at 8 p.m.
