Alabama’s federal lawmakers are continuing to voice support for Israel as it faces ongoing missile attacks from Iran as the conflict in the Middle East continues to escalate.

The Israeli military said on Tuesday that Iran had launched missiles into the country. It is still very early, and there is very little reporting on the damage that has been done thus far.

This recent move comes on the heels of strategic military strikes made against Iranian terrorist proxy Hezbollah in Lebanon in recent weeks. Iran launched a similar attack against Israel in April in response to Israeli military operations after the October 2023 attacks in Israel by another Iranian proxy, Hamas.

In response to the attack, several of Alabama’s Republican senators and congressmen immediately voiced their continued support for Israel and asked the public to pray for them as they weather the storm.

U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Auburn) joined his declaration of support for Israel with a harsh condemnation of the Biden/Harris administration for empowering Iran in its continued hostility.

Speaking on behalf of the American people, U.S. Sen. Katie Britt (R-Montgomery) announced ubiquitous support and prayers for Israel.

U.S. Rep. Gary Palmer (R-Hoover) joined the chorus of voices calling for continued support for Israel, calling it “our greatest ally.”

U.S. Rep. Barry Moore (R-Enterprise) gave a brief call to action, asking the public to pray for Israel in the most recent attack.

U.S. Rep. Dale Strong (R-Monrovia) shared he was praying for Israel and also took a shot at the Biden/Harris administration's "weakness on the world stage," which he said "has emboldened Iran."

U.S. Rep. Robert Aderholt (R-Haleyville) also urged for support and prayers for Israel.
