A glance at Triston Harper’s schedule wouldn’t give so much as a hint that he had just been eliminated on "American Idol." He is as busy as ever, including events back home in Alabama.

The 15-year-old from McIntosh had made the Top Five in "American Idol" but was cut and will not continue in the Top Three. It is already apparent that his musical career was successfully launched by his impressive American Idol run, and it didn't take long.

Song release

Triston’s first song, "H.O.P.E," was released on Friday, May 17.
