America's Frontline Doctors (AFLD) filed a lawsuit against the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) for a preliminary injunction, citing HHS, President Joe Biden, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), The Centers for Disease Control (CDC), The National Institutes of Health (NIH) and The National Institute of Allergies and Infectious Disease (NIAID), as defendants. The Motion seeks to temporarily halt all vaccine mandates.

The federal lawsuit was filed in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Alabama.

AFLD is a medical advocacy group representing physicians and patients nationwide to combat what they perceive to be government and medical overreach. The lawsuit seeks to end the emergency use of the COVID–19 vaccines and from granting full FDA approval of the vaccines.

The complaint covers many accusations, including questioning the validity of the reported fatality rates and the reliability of specific COVID tests. The complaint claims that the HHS and various other government agencies acted contrary to the law by declaring a public health emergency.

"The emergency declaration and its multiple renewals are illegal since in fact there is no underlying emergency," the complaint reads. "Assuming the accuracy of [the] Defendants' COVID-19 death data, SARS- CoV-2 has an overall survivability rate of 99.8% globally, which increases to 99.97% for persons under the age of 70, on a par with the seasonal flu. However, Defendants' data is deliberately inflated..."

The complaint alleges that the vaccines have increased the number of vaccine-related deaths, citing the government's database used to record vaccine-related injuries.

"The government-operated VAERS (Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System) database is intended to function as an 'early warning' system for potential health risks caused by vaccines," the complaint reads. "It is broadcasting a red alert. Of the 262,000 total accumulated reports in VAERS, only 1772 are not related to COVID-19. The database indicates that the total reported vaccine deaths in the first quarter of 2021 [represent] a 12,000% to 25,000% increase in vaccine deaths, year-on-year. In ten years (2009-2019) there were 1529 vaccine deaths, whereas in the first quarter of 2021 there have been over 4,000. Further, 99% of all reported vaccine deaths in 2021 are caused by the COVID-19 vaccines, [with] only 1% being caused by the numerous other vaccines reported in the system."

AFLD claims sufficient evidence has been provided of adverse health effects from the vaccine, specifically to pregnant women and unborn children.

The complaint cites multiple peer-reviewed studies and scientific papers.

"A study recently published in the New England Journal of Medicine, 'Preliminary Findings of mRNA COVID-19 Vaccine Safety in Pregnant Persons,' exposes that pregnant women receiving vaccines during their first or second trimesters suffer an 82% spontaneous abortion rate, killing 4 out of 5 unborn babies."

The complaint also cites increased cases of myocarditis and pericarditis that have been reported in the United States, especially among young adults and adolescents. The complaint claims that vaccines could also produce an increased susceptibility to the virus, among other concerns.

"Antibody-Dependent Enhancement (ADE) occurs when SARS-CoV-2 antibodies, created by a vaccine, instead of protecting the vaccinated person, cause a more severe or lethal case of the COVID-19 disease when the person is later exposed to SARS-CoV-2 in the wild," the complaint reads. "The vaccine amplifies the infection rather than preventing damage. [ADE] may only be seen after months or years of use in populations around the world. ADE is discovered during long-term animal studies, to which the vaccines have not been subjected."

AFLD also claims that the vaccines do not fit the CDC's description of a vaccine in that they do not produce immunity or halt transmission.

"By referring to the 'Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine' and the 'Moderna COVID- 19 Vaccine' as 'vaccines,' and by allowing others to do the same, the Defendants knowingly seduce and mislead the public, short-circuit independent, critical evaluation and decision-making by the consumers of these products, and vitiate their informed consent to this novel technology which is being deployed in the unsuspecting human population for the first time in history," the lawsuit states.

AFLD claims that the government has spent $1 billion to push a "nationwide media campaign" solely to promote the vaccine's benefits. It also claimed that various media outlets and social media companies had taken part in the government's Trusted News Initiative, a campaign in which the participants refuse to allow any information critical of the vaccine.

The case is still pending in court, and further updates will follow.
