Even though Isaiah warned us, did we ever think we’d have leaders who did this?

    and good evil,

who put darkness for light

    and light for darkness,

who put bitter for sweet

    and sweet for bitter!

21 Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes,

and shrewd in their sight! - (Isaiah 5:20,21)

Those words describe our country and our leaders, don’t they?

Don’t they also, though, give us reason to fight for what’s true and what’s right?

Even in the face of a president who routinely calls wrong, right, and right, wrong.

A man we know now who lied about his son’s dealings and then questioned the character of anyone who questioned him.

From the New York Post’s Miranda Devine:

Evidence keeps piling up that Joe Biden lied about his family’s foreign influence-peddling scheme that reaped tens of millions of dollars for his son and brother and potentially put at risk America’s national security.

The president repeatedly has said that he knew “nothing” about his son Hunter’s foreign deals. Yet, when he was vice president, he met with Hunter’s foreign business associates from China, Ukraine, Russia, and Mexico and even chimed in on speakerphone when Hunter was with prospects.

Our president, it seems, sold us out, quite possibly to China, and then shut us down on social media and elsewhere, claiming misinformation.

It’s funny. The Constitutional rights this administration crows about, especially the right to free speech, matter not when it comes to anyone who says something they’d rather not hear - especially when we question their dealings with other countries who do not wish us well.

Also, doesn’t that feel like the fascism they claim to hate?

So stay in it. Stay in this fight.

Or, what about the last election? And asking honest questions?

That’s right. You’re ignored, even by conservative media. Fox News, here’s looking at you.

But, if you’ve seen 2000 Mules, you know that our election system is wrecked. You understand that there are severe doubts about Joe Biden’s presidency in the first place.

If we don’t have transparent elections, what do we have?

And, even if it wasn’t your party this time, it may be the next.

No matter what, aren’t we after the truth? And in its hot pursuit?

Should we not fight back?

Even when the lies threaten to overwhelm, like the debunked Russia narrative?

A lie perpetuated in the media and propped up by Joe Biden’s administration.

A massive lie we’d know nothing about unless brave people uncovered the truth.

Stay in it.

And while you’re at it, never forget what they did to us during COVID.

And the vaccines the Biden administration said you needed to prevent illness.

Except the vax doesn’t do that.

We know that. Joe’s people know that.

Still, Biden’s administration mandates that medical professionals still wear paper napkins across their faces so that hospitals can get CMS money.

Do you understand that while we took our masks off long ago, they haven’t?

Our front-line medical professionals now fight against the government that once lauded them.

Or, what about the lie perpetrated from the top that women would die when Roe was sent back to the states?

It hasn’t happened.

But politicians must keep the women-are-victims narrative alive and because unimaginative, lying politicians are desperate to keep their power, they’ve decided the best use of our country’s money is to put floating abortion clinics off the coast.

Right.

But who doesn’t know about CVS or Walgreens or any old corner store and the supplies you can get if you need that sort of thing?

The lies this administration pushes and the lapdog legacy media supports are suffocating, discouraging, and even terrifying. Lies that make us want to skitter off and hide in a dark corner. Lies that are meant to shut us down and keep us quiet. Permanently.

But we don’t have that option, do we?

We must stay in it.

If we’re in Christ, we know that telling the truth and fighting for it is an essential part of our lives.

2 Corinthians 10:4-5 says, “For our warfare weapons are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God ... .”

That’s why we stand confidently in the face of an administration that lies routinely.

And it’s why we oppose the legacy media that supports them.

Wrong is not right.

And right, is not wrong.

Truth is incontrovertible. Panic may resent it. Ignorance may deride it. Malice may distort it. But there it is.” - Winston Churchill
