Downtown Montgomery was the site of another weekend homicide early Saturday morning.
According to multiple media reports, a male body was found around 5 a.m. Saturday on Dexter Avenue.
According to WSFA, the Montgomery Police Department is investigating the incident as a homicide but hasn’t released further details like the victim’s name or cause of death.
The homicide happened a week after a deadly downtown shootout left two dead and twelve injured. Montgomery City Council suspended the downtown entertainment district at a Tuesday meeting in response to the shooting.
