At least nine people were shot, and at least another four were injured in a massive Sunday morning shooting in Montgomery.

At about 1:46 a.m. on Sunday, the Montgomery Police Department (MPD) and fire medics responded to the area of North Pass Road and Alabama River Parkway regarding reports of gunshot victims. They found one adult female and one juvenile male, both with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.

Montgomery officials additionally stated that one adult female and two adult males with non-life-threatening injuries from a vehicle vs. pedestrian collision and one adult female with minor injuries from broken glass self-reported to the emergency room for treatment.

Video posted to social media shows an innumerable number of gunshots ringing out at what alleged witnesses on social media reported was a party. The various weapons used range from semi-automatic to automatic fire. There appear to be multiple shooters, but the exact number is unclear.

A purported video of the shooting was posted to Facebook and can be found in the comments.

Montgomery Mayor Steven Reed, who was in Kansas City attending a meeting of the United States Conference of Mayors, released the following statement after the shooting.

"This morning, more than 600 rounds were fired at a crowded party in the North Pass area.  Nine were wounded, and at least four more were injured in the chaos that followed. Officers from the Montgomery Police Department, ATF, and FBI are currently interviewing witnesses and suspects. We are working tirelessly to identify those involved, and we urge anyone with information to come forward to help us put a stop to this sort of senseless, violent activity."
