Members of the Auburn University Board of Trustees will set tuition and fees for the next 2024-2025 academic year at their meeting on Friday.
Auburn University Board of Trustees approved a 3% tuition and fees increase last year beginning in the current fall semester.
The board also approved a 4% tuition and fees increase last year beginning in the current fall semester for Auburn's Montgomery campus.
The University of Alabama System announced in June it would freeze tuition for in-state students for the 2023-2024 academic year.
The tuition freeze applies to Alabama residents at the University of Alabama (UA), University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) and University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH).
