Auburn legend Charles Barkley was back home to watch his Tigers take down a star-studded USC Trojans basketball team on Sunday.

The NBA Hall of Famer and TV personality was brought on the ESPN broadcast to talk Auburn, the College Football Playoffs controversy and more.

Barkley, a big fan of Alabama football coach Nick Saban, said he couldn't root for Alabama in the College Football Playoffs "under any circumstances." He joked if Alabama played Afghanistan, he'd "be pulling for Afghanistan."

"I can't root for Alabama under any circumstances," Barkley declared.

"Even though you like Nick Saban?" asked announcer Roxy Bernstein.

"I love Coach Saban," Barkley replied. "He's been great to me, but I could never root for Alabama under any circumstances. I told you - if they played Afghanistan, I'd be pulling for Afghanistan."

Both Bernstein and fellow announcer Jay Williams can be heard laughing and saying, "Oh no."
