During an appearance on Mobile radio FM Talk 106.5's "The Jeff Poor Show" on Tuesday, U.S. Rep. Barry Moore (R-Enterprise) said the House Freedom Caucus could pick up seats in Tuesday's election, with all 435 U.S. House members on the ballot.
Moore, a House Freedom Caucus member, said his members faced issues only when they opposed former President Donald Trump, who is leading Tuesday's ballot for Republicans.
"[I] hope we gain some members," he said. "I feel like we will. The only time we see a problem at HFC are the guys that didn't endorse Trump."
"I think some of those guys struggle," Moore added. "So it seems like the House Freedom Caucus and Trump are kind of aligned in policies. And certainly, those of us who are in the House Freedom Caucus and also believe in making America great, we're tough, tough to beat because people see that that's the only solution for the country."
