U.S. Rep. Barry Moore (R-Enterprise) holds a slight fundraising lead over Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall in the 2026 U.S. Senate Republican primary.

A Senate seat is open in Alabama due to U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Auburn) running for governor instead of seeking re-election to the Senate. 

According to third-quarter campaign finance reports filed on Wednesday, Moore raised $518,556.27 and spent $214,044.40 from July to September. He has a cash-on-hand total of $557,279.42.

Marshall reported raising $417,890.84 and spending $245,291.48 during the third quarter. Marshall has a cash-on-hand total of $555,553.49.

Rodney Walker, an entrepreneur, reported a mostly self-funded total of $389,418.78 and $359,887.26 in cash-on-hand after spending $29,531.52.

Jared Hudson, a business owner and former Navy SEAL, raised $330,885.10 and spent $174,972.19 from July to September. He has a cash-on-hand balance of $357,038.65.

AL-1 fundraising totals

State Rep. Rhett Marques (R-Enterprise) took an early fundraising lead in the race to replace Moore, who is leaving his House seat to run for Senate.

Marques reported raising $494,461.83 and spending only $4,447.93 in the third quarter. He was helped by several large donors who maxed out for both the primary and general elections. Marques has a cash-on-hand balance of $490,013.90.

Former U.S. Rep. Jerry Carl (R-Mobile) reported raising $320,559.75 and spending $55,004.53. He has a cash-on-hand balance of $329,501.13.

Joshua McKee reported raising $46,503.38 and spending $42,683.73. He has a cash-on-hand balance of $3,819.65.
