A defendant in a gruesome Bibb County child sex ring pleaded guilty to nine counts of first-degree kidnapping and one count of sexual torture. She was initially charged with human trafficking, but reached a deal with prosecutors after agreeing to testify against her seven co-defendants.

The case began last summer after authorities discovered an underground bunker where multiple young children had been drugged, bound and sold for sex,

Rebecca Cecile Brewer has already been threatened by co-defendants, according to court documents. While being held in jail without bond, she claims she was assaulted by other inmates.

The plea agreement will be sealed to protect Brewer from retaliation. She will be sentenced following the trials of the remaining defendants.
