The Fairhope Police Department is investigating after a body was found inside a vehicle submerged in a pond.
Investigators first received a missing person report on Sunday. During the course of the investigation, officers received information that a vehicle may be submerged in a neighborhood pond in the area of Falling Waters Boulevard, off State Highway 181, north of Highway 104.
An underwater recovery team responded and confirmed there was a vehicle in the pond with a person inside. Emergency personnel responded to recover the vehicle and the body.
