Arely Guzman, the Albertville real estate agent charged with trafficking illegal aliens, was granted bond and released from custody on Wednesday.

Magistrate Judge Herman Johnson, Jr., ordered her release after United States probation officer Tyler Spaldi investigated Guzman’s proposed place of residence.

The Court ordered Guzman to “immediately report to the United States Probation Officer in Huntsville, Alabama, to execute her bond and conditions of release imposed by this Court on December 31, 2025," when she was ordered to remain in custody pending a residence investigation by the parole officer.

Guzman was arrested on Dec. 19, 2025, on charges of doxxing Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents. That arrest notified Homeland Security Investigators in Eagle Pass, Texas, of Guzman’s whereabouts.

She is also accused of aggravated shooting of an illegal alien, extortion, and hostage taking in Houston, Texas, in June 2024, and assault in DeKalb County in May 2025, along with her partner, Corona.

Guzman is well known in the Albertville community as a real estate agent and an outspoken critic of ICE and local law enforcement for enforcing immigration law.
