The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) is investigating a school bus crash that happened on Tuesday, March 15.
The bus crashed off the shoulder of County Road 33, according to Trooper Justin O'Neal. The students were being carried back to Wadley High School after leaving the Randolph-Roanoke Career Tech Center, in Wedowee.
There were at least 25 students on board at the time of the crash. O'Neal said 13 people had to be transported to Tanner Medical Center, in Wedowee. The extent of the injuries is unknown and it is unclear if the bus driver was hurt.
