During an appearance on the "Livin' the Bream" podcast with Fox News' Shannon Bream, U.S. Sen. Katie Britt (R-Montgomery) predicted President-elect Donald Trump would "come in with significant amount of strength" in solving the ongoing border crisis.

According to Britt, Trump will be undoing a lot of the executive orders President Joe Biden put in place during his first 100 days "immediately out of the gate."

“Obviously, my first opportunity to have a Republican in the White House, and certainly my first opportunity to be a part of what they call is the 'trifecta': one party having the White House, having the House and having the Senate. And with that, and with the way that the vote went down on November 5, I mean, the American people spoke, and they spoke loudly," Britt outlined. "And with that comes a lot of responsibility. And people are going to expect actual results."

"And I think you nailed it in starting with the border," she continued. “I mean, you look at where we are, obviously, I think you'll see President Trump come in with a significant amount of strength, looking at a number of the executive orders that President Biden put in place. He did 94 executive orders his first 100 days that undid a lot of the progress that President Trump had made during his administration. So, you'll likely see a great deal of that coming out immediately out of the gate.”
