Moms are excited about President-elect Donald Trump's nomination of Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. as Department of Health and Human Services Secretary, according to U.S. Sen. Katie Britt (R-Montgomery).

On Friday, Britt said on Huntsville radio WVNN's "The Dale Jackson Show" that every Trump cabinet nominee "deserves the opportunity to make their case" for getting confirmed.

"Every nominee deserves that opportunity to make their case and to explain their plan, to explain their philosophy, to answer questions and to say, 'Hey, this is how I'm going to execute the responsibilities that have been given to me by the President and this is what I'm going to do for the office that I've been nominated,'" she said. "And each and every one of them will go through that."

"0It's interesting to watch the kind of hysteria in different places," Britt continued. "I actually, the RFK pick, I've gotten a ton of moms that are just so excited that we're going to have someone that's going to speak directly about food and directly about toxins that are here in America but aren't in Europe."
