Auburn basketball head coach Bruce Pearl on Sunday did not shy away from speaking out against Hamas in response to a video that reportedly showed the terrorist group handing over three female Israeli hostages to the Red Cross.
A recent cease-fire deal between Israel and Hamas would allow over 30 hostages to be freed over the next six weeks in exchange for hundreds of Palestinians imprisoned by Israel.
A video posted to X showed hostages being moved from one vehicle to another amid a crowd of Hamas terrorists wielding guns and chanting "Allah Akbar," with some of the gunmen standing on top of the vehicles.

In reaction to the video, Pearl, a vocal supporter of Israel given his Jewish heritage, questioned if it looked like Palestinians truly wanted peace.
"This is what giving Palestinians Autonomy looks like. Does it look like they want peace?" Pearl posted. "They made war, murdered and raped, built tunnels and hid under their people, launched rockets from living rooms, then screamed genocide. RELEASE HOSTAGES NOW, then live in peace or leave town."
