Tensions are rising again in the East. China continues to close the noose around Taiwan. Russia seeks to invade Ukraine. The more Communists solidify their power in these areas, the greater threat South Korea faces from North Korea and its allies.
Yet no one in the Democratic party seems to care.
In fact, they barely bother to veil their sympathy for Communist regimes. Instead, they understand the appeal. After all, Socialist Democrats want to restructure America to create their own regime. Why would they condemn the power plays of tyrants who’ve succeeded in enacting such a vision? They’re taking notes.
Similarly, my generation displays little to no compassion for those facing a loss of freedom in Asia. More people on social media lambasted those who spoke out about cruelty in Hong Kong than defended the protesters. America has decided we care far more about making money than standing up for our morals. Of course, the way we’ve been raised also impacts our attitudes. Those in power sympathize with Communism and raised younger generations to think the same.
In other words, liberals are trying to redefine Asians as a “white-adjacent” race. We’ve all heard the phrase “model minorities,” which implies that if minorities are successful, they’re irrelevant in conversations about race. Are liberals in fact using racism as a shield to actually perpetuate classism? Communists sure love their class arguments. Remember Biden’s gaffe: “Poor kids are just as bright and just as talented as white kids.” In the mind of liberals, you’re either a minority, or you’re wealthy, successful, and educated. By this absurd reasoning, “model minorities” aren’t minorities at all. To be considered a minority, you must be a victim who can be saved by the Democratic Socialist state and turned into a useful soldier who will spread their agenda.
I can’t imagine how maddening it must be for young Asian Americans who are trying to pursue the American dream. They’re told their grades are too good and that they’re taking opportunities from the minorities that actually matter, so an entire school system will be redesigned to disadvantage them. But that’s not racism, no, of course not! Asian American youth are just as racist as white kids, because they succeed by working hard. Where are the allies who will stand up for these hard-working Americans?
Asian Americans, simply by being successful, undermine the Democrats’ argument that America must be restructured because we’re racist to the core. I think there’s another layer too. Gradually, China and South Korea are becoming home to the largest numbers of Christians in the world. These Christians then go on to become missionaries, bringing Christianity to the rest of the world. By doing so, they undermine the argument that Christianity too, is the white man’s religion, and so fundamentally racist. The Socialists can’t stand the thought of non-white countries like South Korea successfully spreading Christianity and Democracy to the rest of the world. China and North Korea, then, are a great chance to crush them before more people in the West acknowledge these godly Asians as people who matter.
Therefore, Democrats proceed with a two-pronged assault. First, keep Asians out of higher education in the U.S. so the people who matter here don’t meet and acknowledge them, let alone hear real stories about Communism. Second, do nothing when communist countries threaten religious liberty in Asian countries, so they cannot impact the rest of the world and undermine the argument that Christianity and Democracy are born of white supremacy.
When expressing ideas like this, people of my generation in particular laugh at me. They call me a conspiracy theorist, paranoid. They grew up during postmodernism, which taught them there’s no such thing as right or wrong. Coexist! You do you! They find it absurd to imagine a group of people sitting in a room plotting specifically how to destroy Christians. They don’t remember the height of modernism, when thought-leaders straight out explained that the Humanist Dream is to eradicate Christianity so evolution can resume, catapulting humanity into god-like superiority.
They certainly sit around planning how to undermine people they despise. They did so against Asian American children in San Francisco. You think they won’t do the same abroad? To you?
I know how wearisome it can be talking about racism. It sometimes seems like we can’t discuss a single topic without racism becoming an issue. This obsession can make us miss stories that show serious wrongs being committed against people groups in our country. We should care about this! We must defend against every loss of freedom, including those against Asian Americans.
We’ve acted too late to combat some of the long-term strategies of the Socialist party. This time, let’s take seriously how much Socialists are willing to do to undermine Christian and democratic ideas in America and around the world and act NOW to empower the dedicated Asian American youth and our foreign allies.
