The Foley Police Department arrested a man on four counts of possession of child pornography on Thursday.
Christian Andrew Henderson, 31, of Foley, was taken into custody after an investigation revealed he had images of children engaged in sexual acts on his phone.
Police were contacted by Henderson’s probation officer, which led to the investigation. Investigators obtained a search warrant for Henderson’s phone, where they found the images.
The ages of the children are unknown, but police told 1819 News they believe Henderson downloaded the images from the internet, and he does not know the victims.
Henderson is on probation because he is a convicted sex offender with charges out of Georgia.
Henderson is in the Baldwin County Jail, where he is being held without bond.
