A man from Cullman was shot and killed Friday by his co-worker at a Louisiana car dealership, according to police.
Zakary Stewart, 22, had recently moved to Slidell, La., where he was staying with friends and working at Hyundai Slidell.
Police said Friday, a week of feuding came to a deadly end. Stewart was shot around 5:30 p.m. at the dealership.
“An argument should never result in this level of violence,” said Slidell Police Chief Randy Fandal. “This was a senseless killing that never should have happened. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all those affected by this incident.”
Brian Taylor, 23, was arrested shortly after the shooting. Taylor is charged with manslaughter.
