National Eagle Forum PAC has endorsed Cathi Bradford for the Alabama Board of Education, District 6.

In a statement issued Wednesday, the PAC gave its full support to Bradford’s campaign, citing her extensive experience both as a teacher and Air Force veteran.

“Cathi Bradford’s experience and commitment to students and parents make her uniquely qualified to serve on the state Board of Education,” Eagle Forum stated. “She has first-hand experience in the classroom. After earning a master’s degree in history education, she taught for 26 years. There, she has instructed young minds on the principles of patriotism and the history that has made America an exceptional nation. Her commitment to the future of our nation is evident not just in her teaching but in her service as well.”

Bradford is running on a three-pronged platform: “Back to basics, back to parents, back to patriotic ideas.” She said during a Marshall County Republican Women’s meeting Thursday that her first priority would be to overhaul the textbook selection committee to make sure politics and woke ideology stay out of the classroom.

“The success of our nation depends on critical thinkers who are nurtured at home and in the classroom,” stated Eagle Forum President Kris Ullman. “Cathi Bradford will stand up for our children and our parental rights. As a veteran, she knows the importance of discipline and accountability. She is dedicated to advancing academic excellence for all Alabama children, not social agendas. Most importantly, Cathi respects the rights of parents, especially when it comes to students’ moral and emotional development.”

Incumbent Marie Manning is also running as a Republican for reelection to District 6. The primary election will be held on May 19.

The endorsement was made by National Eagle Forum PAC, not Eagle Forum of Alabama which doesn’t make political endorsements.
