Following the lead of colleges around the nation, Enterprise State Community College has taken decisive action to protect its students and school integrity by firing Marjean Corkran, a teacher who reportedly made light of Charlie Kirk's death on social media and claimed to "indoctrinate" her students.

Multiple people with direct knowledge of the matter confirmed to WTVY Channel 4 this afternoon that Enterprise State Community College fired a professor after she posted socially divisive content on TikTok.

According to the report, "While sources confirmed her firing, the college, a public institution, refused to comment."

"Enterprise State Community College does not comment on any pending HR matters," spokesperson Cassidy Gibbs said in an email to WTVY.

The college has not responded to requests for comment from 1819 News.
