On Friday afternoon, ESPN’s "College GameDay" revealed that Ms. Terry, the wife of former Alabama head coach Nick Saban, would be the guest picker this weekend.
ESPN’s weekly college football show will be broadcasting live from Tuscaloosa on Saturday morning ahead of that night’s heavyweight matchup between No. 4 Alabama and No. 2 Georgia.
"Hi Alabama fans, it's Ms. Terry. As you know, College GameDay is coming to Tuscaloosa this Saturday for the Georgia-Alabama game, and I'm excited to be the guest picker," Ms. Terry said in a video. "So we need all Crimson Tide fans to come to Denny Chimes on Saturday morning. I've already been working on my picks, and I think I'm going to beat Nick [Saban]. I'll see you there! Roll Tide!"

At the end of each broadcast, "GameDay" features a guest picker, usually someone with ties to the host university, to join in predicting the week's games. Previous Alabama guest pickers have included notable figures like former quarterback Joe Namath and Alabama alum, PGA Tour golfer Justin Thomas.
After retiring from coaching, Nick Saban joined the "GameDay" team as an analyst, appearing on the full show every week this season. Saban has stressed his disdain for picking games, but it’s now part of his job. Now, he’ll have the chance to pick games alongside his wife, as they compete to see who makes the most accurate predictions.
With Nick Saban and the addition of Ms. Terry as the guest picker, the "College GameDay" desk will be heavy with Alabama ties. Host Rece Davis, a graduate of the University of Alabama, is another with Alabama roots.
ESPN’s "College GameDay" will be live on The Quad, near Denny Chimes beginning at 8 a.m. CT and ending at 11 a.m. CT. airing on ESPN.
Ms. Terry will make her appearance in the last 10-15 minutes when the analysts make their picks. Alabama’s game against Georgia will kickoff later that night at 6:30 p.m. CT and will air on ABC.
