The FBI Mobile office worked with multiple agencies Tuesday morning in an illegal immigration-related operation in Fairhope.

The operation yielded five arrests.

The Department of Homeland Security Investigations (HIS), Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO), the DEA and Border Patrol were on the scene in an undisclosed location of Baldwin County.

Along with four arrests for immigration related offenses, the FBI Mobile office said Jose Trinidad Rojas, a United States citizen, was cited for impeding during the arrest operation when he tried to trip an agent.

No one was injured during the operation.

“All law enforcement personnel are safe, and the FBI with our partner agencies remain committed to protecting the American public from violent crime,” the FBI Mobile stated.
