Several people caught on camera in the back of a Budget rental van in Atlanta told police they were moving from Alabama to Maryland for work.

A video of the two families in the back of the packed van went viral on social media. The man who made the video and followed the van down the interstate called the police with concerns about human trafficking. Police said after the video was posted online, they received multiple inquiries.

The Gwinnett Police Department responded, finding eight people in the truck, including two juveniles. Despite claims the people were tied up and being trafficked, officers said they found no evidence of either.

“They appeared healthy and agreed to speak with the officers,” the Gwinnett PD said in a statement. “The occupants all told officers that they were traveling from Alabama to Maryland for a new job opportunity. The truck also included their personal belongings.”

Police issued a ticket to the driver of the truck for having occupants in the back. The families were taken to a local business to find a better way to their destination.
