The riots and protests seen in Los Angeles could be going nationwide this weekend.
President Donald Trump will be turning 79 on Flag Day this Saturday, the same day as the U.S. Army's 250th anniversary. To celebrate, leftist groups across the nation are planning to hold mass protests against the administration.
Dubbed the "No Kings Mass Protests," at least 13 events are planned in Alabama, including in major cities such as Huntsville, Birmingham, and Mobile, as well as smaller communities in northern and central Alabama.

"They've defied our courts, deported Americans, disappeared people off the streets, attacked our civil rights, and slashed our services. The corruption has gone too. far. No thrones. No crowns. No kings," the "No Kings" website states.
Attendees are encouraged to dress all in black.
Indivisible, a George Soros-backed, far-left activist organization with chapters in Alabama, is a key organizer for the protests. The group's cofounder, Ezra Levine, told Rolling Stone that they picked that day for the protests to counter Trump's "dictator-style birthday parade," which will be held to honor the Army's milestone anniversary.
50501, another leftist group, is also organizing the protests. Indivisible and 50501 put together the "Hands Off" protests in April against Trump's and Elon Musk's "power grab."
Marshall County Sheriff Phil Simms told 1819 News he doesn't expect any issues with the protest planned in front of the Guntersville Courthouse, but his deputies are ready to respond if needed.
"From city blocks to small towns, from courthouse steps to community parks, groups across the U.S. are taking action to reject authoritarianism-and show the world what democracy really looks like," Susan McKenney, president of the Marshall County Democratic Club and organizer of the Guntersville event, told The Advertiser Gleam.
The "No Kings" protest organizers emphasize that the meet-ups will be peaceful.
