On Thursday, the Cullman Police Department announced that Kelvin Neil Cheatham, the father of Infusion Wellness Spa owner Whitney Cheatham, who went viral for smiling in her mugshot, had voluntarily turned himself in.

The elder Cheatham faces 11 criminal charges, including six felonies, in connection with the ongoing investigation into forged prescriptions tied to Infusion and Wellness Spa. He had been wanted since August 18.

The charges include as follows:

  • 2 counts of Drug Trafficking
  • 1 count of Attempted Drug Trafficking
  • 1 count of Criminal Conspiracy to Commit Drug Trafficking
  • 1 count of Criminal Conspiracy to Commit a Controlled Substance Crime
  • 1 count of Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance by Fraud
  • 5 counts of Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument in the 4th Degree

"This investigation remains active, and additional arrests and charges may follow," the Cullman Police Department advised.

Whitney Cheatham, 33, was arrested last month and charged with the following:

  • 3 counts of drug trafficking
  • 1 count of criminal conspiracy to commit drug trafficking
  • 1 count of attempted drug trafficking
  • 6 counts of unlawful distribution of a controlled substance
  • 1 count of attempted unlawful distribution of a controlled substance
  • 1 count of criminal conspiracy to unlawfully distribute controlled substances
  • 1 count of practicing medicine without a license
  • 11 counts of fourth-degree forgery

Her ex-husband, Kody Smith, was also arrested last month and faces 11 charges of his own.
