The FBI Mobile released more information on the arrest of 11 people in a Baldwin County illegal immigration operation.
On Monday, the FBI said at least 10 people were arrested, but on Tuesday, it confirmed there were 11 suspects. Out of the 11, eight of them had criminal histories, including domestic violence with a deadly weapon, discharging a firearm in public and hit and run.
"Today's enforcement action clearly demonstrates that violent offenders are here illegally with complete disregard for our laws," said FBI supervisory special agent Parker Still. "The FBI with our partners will continue efforts to arrest and remove criminals from our communities."
Many of the arrests were made along County Road 12, near Foley.

The Homeland Security Investigations, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Federal Bureau of Investigations, Drug Enforcement Agency, Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, Enforcement Removal Operations, United States Marshal Services and the Baldwin County Sheriff's Office worked together in the operation.
"My department remains committed to assisting our federal, state, and local agencies in removing these dangerous individuals from our community," said Baldwin County Sheriff Anthony Lowry.
