Days after United Launch Alliance announced long-time chief executive officer Tory Bruno had resigned from his position, Bruno was named president of Jeff Bezos' newly formed national security-focused unit, National Security Group.
Bruno will report to Blue Origin CEO Dave Limp, according to an announcement on X on Friday.

Prior to his tenure at ULA, Bruno served as president of Lockheed Martin Strategic and Missile Defense Systems.
The hire reportedly underscores Blue Origin's effort to expand in U.S. defense and intelligence launch markets.
