A former Prattville High School teacher and football coach has pleaded guilty to second-degree assault after being accused of having sexual contact with an unnamed 18-year-old female student.
Court records indicate that Daniel Forman entered an agreement with the state to plead guilty to the assault, which is a class C felony. The agreement also stated Forman would serve a 24-month probation sentence and must permanently surrender any teaching certificates or licenses.
According to Forman's arrest warrant, the student was at his residence around 9:30 p.m. on Oct. 27, 2022, when the alleged sexual contact occurred.
Forman was a football coach at Prattville High School, and the school's website also listed him as a special education teacher.
According to the warrant, while at the residence, Forman rubbed the victim's breast under her bra, rubbed the victim's groin on the outside of her pants, and "grabbed the victim's butt" on several occasions. The victim and Mr. Forman were also allegedly kissing. The victim claims Forman told her that he "wanted to make love to her."
