A man killed on December 13 in an FBI agent-involved shooting had years of legal battles with government officials and had called for a militia to take them down on December 15.
Alexander Hilton Randles shared his concerns on Facebook the day he was killed.
"Insurrected government officials will block the Courts and manufacturer [sic] chaos to avoid liability and incarceration," he posted. "They will make victims into criminals if they don't get their way."
Randles posted about conspiracies on social media for over two years. He also called himself a fitness influencer and made videos under the name "Juicy Destinations."
While some followers described his escalating tone as paranoid, others supported Randles and asked him to stay strong and not give up on exposing the truth.
"If they kill me, then know that they will kill us one by one until they control you," he posted on November 3. "They will isolate you from your friends and family. They will destroy your life till you comply."
On November 25, Randles called "forth the unorganized militia" of able-bodied males over 17. He instructed them to arm themselves and warned citizens in the area should leave.
"We are being oppressed by insurrected government officials," he posted. "I publicly call for theses [sic] public officials to step down immediately and to recuse yourselves."
He said he planned to instruct the arrest of officials and call for martial law on December 15.
Agents were serving Randles with an arrest and search warrant when he was killed. He was charged with interstate transmission of a threat to kidnap or injure.
Court documents dating back to 2022 show Randles called himself a victim of domestic terrorists that caused him to have a brain tumor through biological terrorism.
He claimed he invented the mobile tire company concept in Ohio and had his own company, RoadRunners Tires LLC. However, he said he was forced to close due to harassment by local and state authorities. He then moved to Alabama for a fresh start. He said FBI agents in Mobile continued to harass him and leak damaging images and videos to people in Alabama.
Randles accused FBI agents of leaking confidential information in a "Jeffery Epstein" type crime to cover up biological terrorism. He said some information was leaked by people working at a local gym.
In early 2024, Randles accused a local doctor of conspiring with officials and people in Ohio who "poisoned him with oral herpes by way of a prostitute." Randles, armed with a pistol and handcuffs, said he planned to make a citizen's arrest. According to court documents, he told Foley Police "they would be in violation of the law, and he would meet them with whatever force needed to accomplish his task" if they tried to stop him.
The incident, along with his history and Facebook posts, led the FBI to request a criminal complaint against Randles.
The FBI is investigating the shooting and said they take all shootings involving agents seriously.
