Since Donald Trump walked away with a landslide victory early Wednesday morning, I’ve noticed a growing message from liberal white men: We have completely failed our daughters.

For once, I agree with the likes of Joe Scarborough, Jimmy Kimmel and Harry Sisson: The choice to vote for Trump ensures that our daughters will lose all their freedoms.

Our daughters won’t be paying higher taxes.

Our daughters won’t have foreign wars monopolizing their time and attention.

Our daughters won’t have the opportunity to play males in female sports.

Our daughters won’t share their locker rooms, changing spaces and bathrooms with men who think they’re women.

Our daughters won’t be referred to as chestfeeders or pregnant people.

Our daughters won’t be confused over who is a woman.

Our daughters won’t be told that their brothers and fathers are inherently awful people.

Our daughters won’t be told that being white makes them a racist.

Our daughters won’t be told that killing babies is the way to happiness.

Our daughters won’t be told by their own parents that not having babies is the most important freedom.

Our daughters won’t be told that they are valuable and precious – except transgender women are more valuable and precious.

Our daughters won’t be told that wanting to be a wife and mother is a stupid idea.

Our daughters won’t be told that they have internalized misogyny because they didn’t vote for a woman.

Our daughters won’t be told they should lie to their husbands and undermine their marriages.

Our daughters won’t be told religion is a crutch.

Our daughters won’t be lied to that promiscuity and lasciviousness are the only paths to happiness.

Our daughters won’t be told that the country they live in is horrible and racist.

How dare we.
