The FBI Mobile announced on Tuesday the arrest of 15 people in a multi-agency immigration enforcement operation.
The Fairhope Police Department assisted in the operation.
Officials said eight of the 15 people arrested had prior criminal histories, including drug possession and DUI.
The names of those arrested have not been released.
The Department of Homeland Security, Drug Enforcement Agency, Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, Enforcement Removal Operations and the United States Marshal Services took part in the investigation and arrests.
