The amount of foreign-owned land in each county differs dramatically across Alabama.

According to the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), the foreign entities with the most land in Alabama are affiliated with the Netherlands, Canada, Ireland, Denmark and Luxembourg.

Recent data from the USDA shows that foreign entities own about 2.2 million acres in Alabama.
