State Rep. Brett Easterbrook (R-Fruitdale) is voting with his pocketbook to protest former President Donald Trump's 34-count guilty verdict rendered in a Manhattan New York State courtroom last week.
Following the verdict, Easterbrook canceled a previously planned trip to New York and vowed never to return.
"I just CANCELED my vacation to New York and donated that $5,000 to the Trump campaign," he said. "I will NEVER go back to New York."
Easterbrook's tweet went viral on social media platform X, getting 4 million impressions and more than doubling his follower count to over 10,000.
