An illegal alien has reportedly been arrested in Argo and is facing multiple charges related to child sex trafficking and abuse.

Enoc Velazquez-Bravo, 32, was arrested and booked into the Jefferson County Jail on Monday. He is charged with one count each of first-degree human trafficking, forgery, facilitating the travel of a child for an unlawful sex act, traveling to meet a child for an unlawful sex act and child solicitation by computer. He is currently at the St. Clair County Jail on a $216,000 bond.

The St. Clair County Sheriff’s office lists Velazquez-Bravo as a Kentucky resident. Argo Police Department Cpl. Cason Davis told the Trussville Tribune that Velazquez-Bravo is in the country illegally from Mexico.

According to Davis, Velazquez-Bravo was arrested during a traffic stop on August 26 at approximately 1 a.m. along I-59 near the 148-mile marker in St. Clair County.

This is one of several criminal arrests made of illegal aliens in recent months, adding to the continued concern of law enforcement, residents and lawmakers, who have expressed growing concern over the growing number of illegal alien criminals apprehended in the state.
