For a TV network to be blocked in Russia, it must make a difference.
That was the attitude of Eddy Reese of Anniston, Alabama, when he got the notice that his Community Service Network (CSN) had been blocked and would not be seen in Russia.
CSN "shares good things but most importantly shares the love of my Lord and Savior."
No wonder he got blocked in Russia.
Friends and viewers call Eddy Reese "The Alabama Ambassador" and "The Rock." That's a perfect recipe for getting him blocked in Russa.
Reese started the broadcast in 1996 to create a nationwide network. He and the network have exceeded that goal. They are international.
On April 5, Reese got the notification: "Your video is blocked and can't be viewed in Russia."
Reese's response:
Yesterday I was informed that my broadcast would no longer be available in Russia for they have blocked my network and posts. Honestly, it’s bittersweet  because of those that we may have reached in the name of the Lord, we will no longer have access or the opportunity, but on the other hand, an amazing journey for a guy from Anniston, Alabama to create a network that Russia would block , proving we are making a difference.”
Reese describes his mission as "developing marketing strategies for a changing world. I believe we all have the power to make a difference. Please join me to commit to making a difference by using your awesome gifts and talents to become a Light House. You are a Link to the most powerful network in the world. I AM asking you to use the Light that is shining on you to turn it outward to shine on those around you and LIGHT THE WAY for a better world."
For years, Reese has titled his daily show – "Out n About with Eddy Reese." He changed that title Saturday to "Out n About with Eddy Reese...Except in Russia."
What a positive and humorous response from a Christian broadcaster.
