Governor Kay Ivey continues to insist that the media are overplaying concerns about her health.
Following the ceremonial groundbreaking of the Heritage Landing development park in Walker County on Wednesday, Ivey once again addressed rumors she addressed days earlier that will not go away pertaining to her health.
She called on the media to "move on" from those questions.
"Evidently, my clean bill of health that I've been given has no place in the media's narrative," Ivey said. "I am healthy. I am grateful for that. I give thanks to God almighty every day for my clean bill of health. I'm grateful to the people of Alabama far and wide, lifting me up in prayer for health and well-being. I'm grateful.
"I just wish y'all in the media would get past all this nonsense. Let's move on and talk about things that matter."
