Former U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions is headlining an Alabama Center for Law and Liberty (ACLL) event next month in Montgomery.

The ACLL is celebrating "two years of liberty," and Sessions, who served in the U.S. Senate for 20 years, will be the banquet's featured speaker at Faulkner University on May 1 beginning at 6 p.m.

Founded in 2021, the Birmingham-based ACLL describes itself as "a conservative 501(c)3 nonprofit law firm based in Birmingham, Alabama, dedicated to the defense of limited government, free markets, strong families, and religious liberty."

ACLL says its mission is to "spread awareness and educate about constitutional issues Alabamians are facing."

Tickets to see Sessions go on sale on April 10 and are $40 a piece, or $300 for a table.
